The band, Surface Crew, came together in the Orange County beach scene in the beginning
of 2003. Its members, Ross Saggio and Brandon Cabrales, united with one goal
in mind…to create music that will be surfable in any location on the globe.
The Surface Crew sound was initiated from Saggio and Cabrales’s taste for old
school classic rock, but it wasn’t until they discovered the pleasure of
riding the Southern Californian waves, where it was then that their sound was
finally established. From early 2003, Surface Crew spent their
free time using the calmness and exquisiteness of the California surf,
stealing sand and salt, to create the same calmness and exquisiteness
in way of music.
